Printing LINE Evidence, Clean and Readable as a PDF

When you print a LINE chat to hand over, pasted screenshots tend to multiply and become hard to read. Here is how to build a PDF from the exported text instead.

Not legal advice. This page is general information. Whether a court admits or relies on a chat is for the court; convokeep does not promise admission or any outcome. Ask a qualified lawyer about your case.

What should I prepare for printing?

Save the text from the chat room with "Export chat history" (see how to save). Keep the original file unchanged and print from a copy.

How do I make it readable?

Load the .txt in the convokeep app, choose the date range, black out anything unnecessary, and build a PDF with dates, times and senders. Redacted text is also removed from the PDF's text.

Can I print it at a convenience store?

Some services let you print a PDF from a USB drive or cloud storage. Check supported formats and fees with each service. See also the printing guide.

Are page numbers and hashes included?

Record adds page numbers, sender and time, and the SHA-256 of the source file and the transcript data (the PDF's own hash is a separate file). A later copy whose SHA-256 hash matches the recorded hash has not changed since that hash was recorded. This does not show that the original chat is authentic or complete.

What if the recipient requires a specific format?

The instructions of the court or the other party, and your lawyer's advice, come first. This site cannot guarantee any submission format.

Privacy

Reading the file, building the PDF and calculating hashes all happen in your browser. No chat or attachment is uploaded and there is no account. See the privacy policy and the disclaimer.

Ready to try it?

Drop your exported .txt file on the convokeep app for a free preview. The first 3 pages are free (watermarked, no integrity page); saving the full PDF is a one-time paid feature. No chat or attachment is uploaded: the file is read in your browser. To check later that a file is unchanged, use the hash checker.
