The transcript hash is shown as recorded. It cannot be recomputed from the PDF alone, because it depends on hidden fields of the original export and on the edit choices made at export; use the original export with the command-line check. The PDF byte check is separate and includes all serialized bytes except the digest slot itself.

This may be an older PDF, a preview, a different file, or a modified one. Re-export the original in the current app to create a PDF with integrity data.

The hashes are stored in the PDF itself. A match confirms consistency with the recorded hashes, not who created the chat or whether it is authentic. Someone who changes both the PDF and its hashes can produce a match. This is not a digital signature or proof of legal admissibility.
